Réserve Brut is the result of a subtle marriage of 3 grape varieties (43% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot noir).

It is a blend of 7 distinct years (56% 2017, 7% 2016, 21% 2015, 8% 2014, 8% others), together beautifully balanced, a perfect harmony of richness, fruitiness and freshness. Aged 3 years on the lees, disgorged in 2021.

A genuine expression of terroir, a tribute to the excellence and singularity of each terroir (Damery (44%) Fontette (8,5%) Songy (6,8%) Avize (6,7%) Saudoy (5,8%) Cumières (4,3%) Nogent l'Abesse (4%) Vertus (3,6%) Vinay (2,3%) Chaumuzy (2%) Boursault (2%) Epernay (1,9%) Fontaine Denis (1,6%) Meurville (1,4%) Others (<1%).

Marked by honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla on the nose with an elegant foam. Plentiful of baked fruits: Mirabelle plum with a slight spice on the mid-palate that gives way to a long candied tropical-fruit and brisk mineral finish.

Born from an avant-garde vision by Henri Lhôpital in 1912, Champagne de Telmont is named after one of its best plots located in Damery, Vallée de la Marne. 24.5 Hectares and 8 crus on the right side of the river amongst a landscape of rolling hills, small villages with narrow winding streets and colorful vineyards that change with every season.

In 2017, Telmont receives its first organic certification for certain sections of the house’s vineyard, rewarding a decade of hard work and dedication.

In 2020, French family-owned spirits group, Rémy Cointreau, becomes majority shareholder of Telmont. This purchase was driven by shared values and a common vision. The future of the House will be built alongside Bertrand Lhôpital who remains Cellar Master and Head of Viticulture at Telmont.

By 2025, 100% of Telmont Estate’s vines (24.5 ha) will be certified in organic agriculture. 100% of our winegrower partners (56 ha) will be certified in organic agriculture by 2031. Telmont will confirm its leadership in organic agriculture.
