This red wine from the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation, is a faithful portrait of our 4 terroirs spread between the foot of the slopes, slopes, terraces and plateaux.
The 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon blend is also representative of the 21 plots that make up our vineyards.
After tasting the grapes, we harvest them plot by plot according to grape variety, terroir, altitude, exposure and age of the vines.
Vinification batch by batch enables us to adapt the extraction process (pumping over, rack and return), making it possible to respect the integrity, style and personality of each plot. The aim is to express as many facets as possible.
Maturing in the barrel is also adapted to each batch. Once again, the aim is to respect the fruit and original varietal character of the grapes. The barrels will accentuate and bring out the character of the wine and the terroir without lessening its expression with exogenous scents and aromas.
A continual job of tasting goes on over 2 years, from the grapes to the wine, to arrive at the best possible blend.
