Nose of blackberry and savory complexity with mineral, spicy and toasted flavours are blended in with candied almonds and aromatic herbs.
The palate has an excellent acidity with intense, polished tannins that keeps the wine fresh, consistent, and well-balanced in structure with easy drinkability and some development that provides an oxidative profile.
The aftertaste is long, aromatic and vigorous. This wine will refine within 5 years and can be cellared for over a decade.
Cellar Devinssi is located in Gratallops and was founded in 2002 by Josep Roca, Master in Viticulture and Oenology, wine and gourmet distributor in Barcelona. They only have 3 hectares of vineyards planted with Red Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Grenache and Pedro Ximenez.
They focus on small batches of high quality and produce only between 15,000 and 18,000 bottles per vintage.
