Guy Lheraud Cognac XO Charles VII is a beautiful multi-cru blend highlighted by its striking decanter. Aged for 40 years, this quality blend offers extremely good value for money for such an old cognac. And, of course, there's the delicious taste of rancio that only appears after a truly long aging process.
A delight to all the senses: from the amber gold color that dances in front of the eyes, to the aromas of blackcurrant, rich vanilla pod, dark coffee and hazelnut notes on the palate, this is a cognac that takes the taster on a journey from beginning to end.
The Cognac Lheraud method adds a special touch: 3 distillations are carried out each year: charge sur marc (liquid with grape marc), vin clair (clear wine) and vin avec lie (wine with lees). The blend of these 3 distillations gives a cru its character. The fruitiness of the Very Special blends (VS 3 years), the nutty aromas of the Very Special Old Pale blends (VSOP 5 years) and the rancio notes of the Extra Old Cognacs (XO 10 to 20 years) make for spirits of the highest quality.
