    100% Viura (Macabeo).

The grapes are picked at dawn to avoid high daytime temperatures. The grapes are pressed to collect the first must. Once in tanks, it is clarified by flotation. Once clean, it is racked and put in stainless steel fermenters at a temperature maintained at 11-12 °C. The wines remain in contact with their lees for 3 months, to preserve varietal aromas and acquire greater harmony and a buttery texture.

Pale-yellow with green hues; clean and bright. Intense nose driven by predominating white fruits, green apples and stone fruit, with floral hints and citrus notes. Medium bodied in the mouth, with good initial volume and a refreshing acidity that makes it enticing all along.

Its ideal service temperature is between 8 and 12 ºC, with creamy cheeses, poultry, fish, seafood rice and pasta dishes...

Bodegas Taron is a cooperative based in the northernmost part of Rioja Alta, with 200 families owning 700 hectares of vines around 4 small towns: Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, Sajazarra, Villaseca and Tirgo. These families decided that since they share the same landscape and culture, they would benefit from pooling together their vineyards and knowledge to create one Bodega focused on creating high quality Rioja`s. Viticulture and historical heritage are the axes of the wine activity in Bodegas Tarón. A privileged environment of Rioja Alta: century-old vineyards, Romanesque churches and medieval castles outline our landscape.
