100% Mondeuse.
In 2006, Adrien Berlioz took over his family's domaine just outside the village of Chignin.
The vineyard of 4.5 hectares is farmed organically, the soil is made of limestone and calcareous clay, with slopes exceeding 50% in some places.
The wine is very perfumed and aromatics, suggesting the fruit of a Beaujolais, and the savory, spicy character of a Gigondas.
While Mondeuse is usually light-bodied, this red wine is solidly built around a core of fine tannins and vibrant acidity.
